Hanging on pdflatex build when missing media

In book.py there is a similar issue as icplot#8, where pdflatex uses an interactive interface when running into issues but in a different use of pdflatex. This one also is using jb build so I can't see how to pass arguments to the builder, pdflatex, and so cannot use the same fix of adding the flag
